Water is the important resource for agricultural activity. While Japan is water-rich in comparison with the other country, the facility to store the water is needed. The stored water is delivered through the various facilities to the farmland.

We study the design method, the risk management and the asset management of the various agricultural facilities.

The mechanical behavior, the effect on the environment and the social impact of the facilities are investigated through the numerical approach, the experiments and the culture scientific method.
